Husband-Wife Championship

at Orleans Country Club

Eligibility: Open to male and female amateur golfers with active, established handicaps at a Vermont club. Each team is comprised of one male and one female golfer.

 

Teams to be comprised of a Husband and Wife combo.

Format: 18 hole stroke play, both gross & net prizes will be awarded. 40% of the combined team handicap will be used for the net scoring. Play will be alternate shot, selective after the second shot.  

Entry Fee: $60.00 per team.

Registration: On-line registration opens March 14, 2023. Registration is by TEAM - both players must have a profile in the tournament system. 

 

Cart PolicyCarts are not mandatory.

Entry Deadline: Entries must be received by entry deadline. If a team who is not on the waiting list wishes to enter the tournament after the entry deadline, and if there is an available spot for that team, there will be an additional charge of $25.00 for late entry.

Tee Times/Pairings: Players will have the option to state who they wish to be paired with and preferred tee time range during the registration process. VGA will create the final pairings and tee times and try to accommodate requests as much as possible. Pairings will be posted to the event portal as well as being emailed to all participants.

Dress Code: Appropriate golf attire - collared shirts - no denim. If in doubt, please call the pro shop.

Cancellations: Cancellations can be made on line prior to the close of entries and will be refunded in full less a 3% credit card processing fee. After the close of entries and prior to the start of the tournament, entry fees will be refunded less a $20/team cancellation fee and you must contact the VGA office to cancel. No refunds will be given after the start of the tournament.

Conditions/Schedules: The VGA reserves the right to alter any of the conditions and schedules herein. The decision of the VGA in any matter shall be final.
